Sprucing Up Your Guest Tables Using Farm Tables

In case you haven’t already heard- we have farm tables!!!!!! These new, beautiful farm tables can really be the focal point when it comes to designing your reception area. The tables are new to us this year and we get so excited every time we get to take these out for an event. The farm tables can be used for your king’s table, sweetheart table, cake table, or whatever you can think of!

In July, we hosted our very first Summer Social bridal event! And what better way to decorate our table than with one of our beautiful farm tables and gold chiavari chairs. This farm table was accessorized using our coral chiffon runners and succulents for center pieces. The theme of this year’s Summer Social was sunset ombre so we wanted to make sure we incorporated all of those fun colors in our table and we did that through the napkins.

We had so much fun designing this table and being able to use napkins in lots of different fabrics and folding styles gives you an idea of the endless possibilities when designing your guest tables! The farm tables are a beautiful addition to your reception and are sure to be a conversation starter!

We just loveeee the way our farm tables look after all the things have been added. This look is from our 2019 Crystal Clear Vision table at the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth. The farm table is simple and elegant with the white chiffon runners and beautiful gold beaded glass chargers. We love the sleek and romantic look of this guest table with a small pop of color in the menu card and napkin.

Zooming out from the place setting allows you to see how the farm table looks in all its glory! The centerpieces used were small and simple allowing the farm table to be the center of attention. We love this farm table paired with our white chiavari chairs and the champagne chiffon sashes complement the chiffon runners perfectly. If you are interested in the farm tables being the stand out piece of your reception area, it doesn’t take much to give them a beautiful, polished look that your guests will never forget. This design goes hand and hand with the simple & natural look of the farm tables and the earthy colors of the plants and place settings is one to die for!

We are OBSESSED with the way Touche’ Event Design & Production transformed our farm tables at Raven and Dane’s wedding this summer! If you plan on having a king’s table at your wedding, the farm table is the perfect way to make sure your bridal party stands out. The design on the farm table is super simple and every aspect of color used on this table matches each other perfectly. We love the romantic look the organza runner gives us paired with the incredible white flowers used in the center pieces.

Fall 2019’s Hottest Color- Ice Blue

This year we have seen quite the increase in a new beautiful shade of blue. Ice blue is here and won’t be leaving any time soon! This shade of blue is so subtle that you can use it to cover all your guest tables without wondering if it’s too much color.

Putting extra thought into your linen choice is a great way to incorporate your wedding colors into your reception, whether that’s with your main wedding color or accent color. Letting the main colors of your wedding shine with your floral arrangements allows the accent color to come out in the linen, making for the perfect combo! This wedding at The Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club shows just that.

This photo shows you the beautiful blushes and neutrals in a small, intimate floral arrangement. These flowers paired with the blue linens and gold votives has us in love. The linens used are our matte satin ice blue along with our slate blue polyester napkins, and don’t forget the beautiful gold acrylic chargers!

We love these guest tables paired with our gold chiavari chairs. If you notice the bride chose to switch up the style of her centerpiece into a more modern, dramatic centerpiece on every other table. We love that centerpieces can be different from table to table but still showcase your wedding colors beautifully.

Each guest table looked stunning and the attention to detail was impeccable. The napkin fold is a trifold on top of the chargers really allowing that slate blue to pop in a clean and elegant way.

Love is Love Styled Shoot

Last month we had the pleasure of being a part of this beautiful LGBTQ styled shoot at the Historic Post Office. We are thrilled to be included in such a monumental styled shoot done here in Hampton Roads. The theme of this shoot was modern with beautiful citrus accents.

We are OBSESSED with how the tablescape turned out using one of our unique specialty linens. Lustre Theory Styling & Design paired our blue and white pottery print linen and navy blue velvet napkins to complement the vibrancy of the fruits. The name cards were even made from lemons, how cute!

The cake table was a more vintage, subtle approach really allowing the citrus to come to life here. Our white gauze runner was used to achieve a soft and romantic feel and letting the incredible cake be the focus.

We are so thrilled with how this shoot turned out and honored to be part of such a beautiful message. This full shot shows the happy couple paired with the finished product of our linen and all it’s accessories.

Here at Waterford Event Rentals, we want to remind everyone that love is love and we are grateful to be a part of anyone’s wedding day. Love is the reason we get to wake up and come to work every day. Being able to contribute to weddings all over Hampton Roads and beyond makes our job that much sweeter.

Sweet and Whimsical September Wedding

Last month we had the pleasure of providing the linens for Samantha and Nathan’s wedding at the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth. Samantha’s tables were fully set with our white polyester linens, gold chargers, and wedgewood napkins. She topped off the tables with our gold chiavari chairs.

To make her sweetheart table stand out, Samantha chose a floor length white organza tablecloth to give that soft and whimsical look. This fabric is typically used as an overlay but we are so thrilled at how this full length organza linen transformed her sweetheart table. The gorgeous floral arrangements and small lanterns makes you feel cozy and romantic, perfect for the newlyweds.

A close up shot of Samantha and Nathan’s guest tables really allows you to see the pop of color in their napkins and gold chargers that contrast the white linens beautifully.

The table arrangements were finished off with a beautiful wooden accent name plate. This close up of the napkin fold on top of the charger shows just how much thought was put into every detail of this place setting. This fold is called a menu fold because it allows for a small pocket in the napkin and the menu fits right in. Napkin folds is just one of many ways to customize your linens on your big day.

Incorporating Your Wedding Colors

When planning a wedding, brides are always thinking of ways they can make their wedding stand out! What better way than choosing beautiful linens to show off your wedding colors. This blog is all about finding some fun colors to add to your reception tables.

This bride chose to break up her neutrals on the guest table with a beautiful hot pink polyester napkin. The silver in the utensils and around the charger allows that napkin to pop just a little bit more.

This Crystal Clear bride chose a purple sequin linen to really make her cake table stand out. Who doesn’t love sequins? The color of this linen really accentuates the purple piping on her wedding cake and really unifies the look of her wedding.

This bride chose to bring out her wedding colors in a beautiful sash tie. She chose a vertical knot tie which fits perfectly for these chairs. If you notice her colors are all ivory and tans with this hint of pink on the back of the chairs which we just adore.
