A Crystal Clear Vision Linens 2017: Part 1

Friends, it’s finally time!
We’ve officially got all of the pictures back from A Crystal Clear Vision 2017, and we are so excited to finally be able to share with everyone! Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be showing off the amazing photos and detailing the various linens that were used on each of the different tablescapes. We had five amazing photographers on hand to capture the event, and to avoid picture and information overload, we’ve broken down the posts by photographer! First up are the tables that Amanda Manupella Photography captured: Antonia Christianson Events, The Bridal Dish, and Waterford Event Rentals!

Rose Quartz Velvet Runner
How amazing was Antonia Christianson Events table this year?! She pulled design inspiration from her personal life and every.single.detail that she chose had a sentimental value attached to it. All of the custom elements she included from the monogrammed napkins and rose gold plates, down to the Rose Quartz Velvet Runner all came together in this epic sweetheart table!

Black Sequins | Black Petal
The Bridal Dish used two of our favorite linens on their table design – Black Sequins and Black Petal! We haven’t seen these two linens used in black that often and we absolutely fell in love with how classic and expensive it made the table feel/look! No detail was left untouched on their design from the fabulous striped and clear chairs to the “gather” piece hanging above.

Silver Diamond Sequins
Along with planning the whole A Crystal Clear Vision event, Waterford always loves the fact that we get to show off our design skills during the show too! This year, we decided to go with all the sparkles! Our Silver Diamond Sequins linen was the star of our table, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. The sparkles in contrast with the crisp white of our chiavari chairs and white chair covers gave off a glamorous feel that we just adored!

Waterford Wednesday: Color Palette

It seems like wedding season just ended, but it’s slowly but surely creeping back up on us!
We’ve been super busy here at Waterford with design meetings and booking season, and we are so excited for all of the events that are happening in the coming months!
If you follow us on Facebook, you were the first to know about our 2nd Annual Crystal Clear Vision Event that we are putting on in March! The announcement of our event felt like a good time to do a blog post on some tips when it comes to choosing your wedding color palette. If you attend our event (tickets here!) you’ll be able to see fully designed reception tables, but in the meantime, here are some suggestions to help kick-start your planning!

Find Your Style84f2acfb57298006ad2343dee1cbea9aFinding the style you want for your event is a good first step in creating your wedding color palette. Doing this will set a particular “tone” for your wedding and then ideas can start to form. A good example would be if you choose to have a classic, romantic wedding. After choosing this style, blush tones, champagne, and gold elements become a great color palette to achieve that classic, romantic feel.

The Location
The venue that you choose is also an important piece in deciding your color palette. Although it’s not a make or break decision, taking into account the various wall textures, carpet color, and overall look of your reception space is a key element in picking colors. You want to make sure your color palette is complementing the venue so you won’t end up with crazy contrasts. However, draping and excellent lighting can take care of these issues if necessary!

Although there is no particular “rule” about what colors can or should be used for each season, considering the season of your event can help in creating your color palette. You can save money by using flowers and accessories in the colors that are available at the specific time of the year you’re getting married. For example, we see vibrant colors in the summer compared to the bold or neutral hues in the winter!
