Stunning November Wedding

Back in November, we were part of an incredible wedding for such a great couple! Jess & Rob allowed us to work our magic making their wedding day dreams come true. What could be better than a great couple, at a great venue, with GREAT linens??? Welp, nothing! Here’s just a sneak peak of how their reception tables turned out and we are truly stunned at the outcome. What a view this is… We are obsessed with every detail of this ceremony space, from the draping, to the gold chiavari chairs with woven chiffon sashes, to the floral wall, we cannot get over this view.We love the alternating sashes between ivory and taupe. These chairs transformed beautifully to the chairs used at their head table during the reception.Pictured again are the chairs used for the head table paired with one of our hottest new linens: etched velvet! Jess had a vision for her reception space and these linens were sure to be a show stopper.Jess paired the etched velvet linens on her head table and cocktail tables & chose to compliment those using matte satin champagne blush linens for the rest of her guest tables. We loveeeee the classic, romantic look of her reception space with some of those pinks and deep reds added tastefully.Their cake table was a head turner in itself with this floral backdrop and one of our personal favorite linens. The champagne aphrodite linen is a perfect cake table addition and yup, you guessed it! Jess added in some champagne aphrodite runners at guest tables to tie it all in.This would be a great wedding to use for inspiration if you’re looking for a classic, romantic feel with some beautiful neutrals and hint of color.

Waterford Wednesday: Brianne and Austin Wedding

Happy Waterford Wednesday friends!

We just received these gorgeous photos from one of our fav 2018 weddings at Half Moone in Norfolk and we are so excited to share them with you!  Brianne and Austin’s wedding holds a special place in our heart as truly a breathtaking event.  The touches of natural greenery with accents of navy, white, and beige prove to be quite appealing and rightly so, a tropical trendsetter.  Collaborating with Ethan Yang Photography and Antonia Christianson Events was an absolute dream to say the least!  Take a look at some of our favs from Brianne and Austin’s wedding day:

By choosing the Velvet Navy table linen in combination with the Panama Cobalt napkins for their sweetheart table, Brianne and Austin completed their look for this tropical yet rustic wedding.  The pops of color from their beautiful floral as well as their final touches throughout further invited their guests to feel warmly welcomed.  So, if you’re in the middle of planning your 2019 wedding and are at a lost for inspiration, make sure you save this one as a reference for what’s on trend and quite breathtaking!

Great job to all vendors involved:

Waterford Wednesday: Half Moone Wedding

Happy Waterford Wednesday!
If you follow along with us on Facebook, you saw that Stephanie’s wedding was this past weekend, and it was absolutely fabulous! We can’t wait to see all of the pictures, but in the meantime, we’re obsessing over this sneak peek! Today, we’re reminiscing on one of our favorite weddings from this past summer. The Girl Tyler captured a beautiful wedding at Half Moone in downtown Norfolk, and we loved how the linen, floral and other decor came together so well! Check out some of our favorite shots:samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2043samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2035samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2065samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2107samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2038samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2064samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2282samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2060samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2121samantha-john_wedding-norfolk_half-moone_june-2016_thegirltyler-2099We love, love, love all of the gorgeous natural light that the windows at Half Moone provide! Our champagne sequins runners on the guest tables and sweetheart table seem to sparkle just a little brighter in this venue! The beautiful florals and intricate greenery by Isha Foss made the tables the focal point of the room, and our moss satin napkins were the perfect shade to compliment the green! Our gold chiavari chairs and gold plate chargers were the final pieces to bring the whole table design together!
