Incorporating Disney Into Your Reception

Who doesn’t love Disney movies?

We sure do! Exactly a week ago we found out that Disney World is ready to reopen its doors July 11th! Once we heard this news we were ready to dedicate an entire blog to all the go hard Disney lovers out there. We have had a handful of brides come to us in the past with their love for Disney that just had to be incorporated to their wedding day.

Some brides took you on a little trip and had each guest table as a different theme park within Walt Disney World in Florida.

Other brides kept it super subtle and stayed with a more classic Disney theme and incorporated cute Mickey Mouse ears here and there.

Whatever your vision may be- this Disney blog is the one for you! We are going to share some of our personal favorite Disney Princesses and how you can bring this to life for the reception of your dreams. I mean it’s Disney- we have to go all out for this right?Such a super pretty way to include the glitz and glam of Cinderella into your reception space using a slate blue velvet paired with champagne sequins.Another princess to think about including is Ariel. Red sequins to display her gorgeous red hair- quite the focal point throughout the movie. And then what better way to portray her tail and the sea than with our iridescent crush olive green linen. We love the different ripples and shades that comes with this linen and totally gives off under the sea vibes.Of course we had to include one of the newest to join the Princess gang! Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. Bring your reception tables to life with a mix of our matte satin ice blue and velvet leaf linens sure to rock the party!Once we decided on this blog, I knew for sure Tangled would have to be a part of it. I mean just look at this iridescent linen- this screams Rapunzel!!!!! This might just be my favorite linen pairings. Adding the romantic look of those long luscious locks with the champagne pintuck linen. Using the iridescent crush linens with the pintuck as sash ties would make for an AMAZING duo.Last but not least- probably one of the top 5 Disney love stories EVER. Beauty and the Beast. We have a bride going with this look in the fall and is adding all the navy and gold you can imagine. We can’t wait to see this unfold in person. But for now we’ll be dreaming of some champagne pinchwheel, the most accurate depiction of Belle’s gorgeous gold gown.

We hope you’ve enjoyed taking a walk into Disney with us. This one was super fun! Can’t wait to see how creative our brides get with this.

Waterford Wednesday: 1 Linen, 3 Ways Pinchwheel

It’s Waterford Wednesday!
It’s been a couple months since our last “1 Linen, 3 Ways” post, and we decided it’s about time for another! Our specialty linens have been a hot commodity lately and we’ve seen them used in so many beautiful and creative ways. In just a short amount of time, it seems like speciality linens have come so far! A lot of brides used to only utilize these gorgeous linens on their “special” tables like a sweetheart or cake, so we’re loving seeing them on all sorts of guests tables! This week is all about one of our first (and favorite!) specialty linens. . . our Pinchwheel!

Baxter’s Creative Events created such a glamorous table setting and was totally ahead of the trend with using speciality linens on guest tables!

It was the perfect late summer inspired outdoor shoot, and another example of how great and versatile our Pinchwheel linen is! One thing we absolutely adore about this linen is the textured appearance is gives off!

Kierstyn Peterson Photography captured the beauty of this whole table so perfectly at the Hope Center Preview a couple weeks ago! Our gold plate chargers were a great additional to this already elegant table setting!

Feature Friday: Pinchwheel

Welcome back to another Feature Friday!
This week is all about another one of our specialty table linens.

Pinchwheel Table Linen

gatsby-121-2757202421-O We absolutely love our Pinchwheel table linen! This particular linen is considered a specialty, but the simplicity of the look and texture makes it a great linen for any table at an event! It comes in many different colors ranging from dark, like the Pewter shown above, to a lighter Champagne. Although this linen is much simpler than other specialty linens, the unique “pinch” makes for an eye-popping table setting!

Check back with us each week as we showcase new linens and products that are perfect for all events, and keep an eye on our Speciality Linens page to see all of our great linens in one location!
