Combining Textures Flawlessly

In the fall, we were a part of a huge wedding: 300 people to be exact at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club. The linens picked out for this wedding were to die for and we are sooooo excited to share this with you! Morgan chose to keep her guest tables neutral with ivory polyester linens and matte satin champagne blush napkins, but decked out her head table with the same matte satin champagne blush linens and rose quartz velvet napkins. This photo shows an epic shot of the guest tables with the head table located in the center with a stunning hanging floral centerpiece. The guest tables were kept neutral with subtle pops of wedding color in the floral. The head table was differentiated by incorporating long tables but also with a completely different fabric choice. The linens used were matte satin champagne blush and accented with the rose quartz velvet napkins. Both these colors proved to be perfect complements to the floral used in the entire reception space. These colors were romantic and beautiful for this fall wedding. We love making wedding dreams come true!

Fun Colors to Bring Your Reception to Life

Our favorite thing about being a part of so many amazing setups and weddings is seeing just how different and unique each and every bride is. In our area, there are so many venues that every bride gets to transform by bringing out their own personality in their reception. This year we had a beautiful wedding at the Historic Post Office.

Leah brought her reception to life with the use of a deep teal color accompanied by some fun pinks and oranges.A white full length linen was used and paired the teal napkins along with a blush chiffon runner. The teal stands out so well when paired with these romantic colors. The guest tables all had the same beautiful flowers but differed with a smaller romantic centerpiece, or a tall abstract bouquet. We just love the look of these linens with our mahogany chairs. The dark color of the chairs adds such a beautiful contrast. How stunning is this sweetheart table. This might be one of our favorites this year! The colors look like they were meant for each other and add such a lovely touch to this table. Who doesn’t love a good sequin linen and with flowers like this…. YES PLEASE.The cake table also took the main color of the reception with the same teal polyester linen. The wedding cake is beautiful and simple but the few floral additions takes it over the top.Rob & Leah, your wedding was absolutely stunning. We are so grateful you chose us for your linen needs on your big day! Enjoy your first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs.

Wonderful Williamsburg Wedding

Back in June we were chosen to help bring an incredible vision to life! Madi and Tanner got married at the Governor’s Palace in Williamsburg, then headed to the Williamsburg Inn for their reception. The outcome…. AMAZING.The linens shown here are the elegant silver jacquard which we used for the first time with this wedding! We love the subtle pattern that still makes the reception stand out like no other. The centerpieces were kept simple with a beautiful boa and some flowers and a few candles scattered throughout. We just had to show you a close up of these place settings. I mean how cute are these monogrammed napkins?!? We are OBSESSED. Each guest had their napkin folded hanging off the table to display the bride and groom’s monogram. Such a brilliant touch added to this sophisticated wedding. We also are just loving how the gold on their menu card pairs perfectly with our gold glass beaded chargers.Another close up of the guest tables’ centerpieces that were super simple but added the perfect touch to every table.Ok, this is head table is TO. DIE. FOR. The backdrop included three full walls of greenery with the most beautiful monogram in the center. Notice the flowers used here also match all the tables for the reception which makes us love it even more! This was such a fun wedding to be a part of and we love how the linen choices made Madi’s special day stand out.Wishing these William & Mary grads nothing but the best!

October Wedding Flashback

With all the craziness that comes with fall wedding season, we were a part of so many incredible weddings! One of the most amazing weddings we have been a part of took place at the Half Moone. Taylor & Tiasha had over 300 guests to celebrate their big day. And the photos from this wedding are TO. DIE. FOR.The ceremony began with over 300 of our gold chiavari chairs in the Vista Room at the Half Moone. This amazing floral archway made it’s debut at the ceremony and was a show stopper for the rest of the night. I mean, do you see this beauty???The bride and groom added white chiavari chairs topped with a four corner knot to make sure they were to stand out at their head table. The head table was kept neutral and really came alive with the beautiful deep pinks in the floral and the milania sequins runner.Guest tables were topped with tropical leaves and stayed consistent with the pinks and reds scattered throughout. Each of the place settings included a gold acrylic charger with a napkin folded across it topped with a name card.Taylor and Tiasha, we thank you for including us in your big day! We had so much fun making this vision come to life and wish you nothing but happiness.

Fall 2019’s Hottest Color- Ice Blue

This year we have seen quite the increase in a new beautiful shade of blue. Ice blue is here and won’t be leaving any time soon! This shade of blue is so subtle that you can use it to cover all your guest tables without wondering if it’s too much color.

Putting extra thought into your linen choice is a great way to incorporate your wedding colors into your reception, whether that’s with your main wedding color or accent color. Letting the main colors of your wedding shine with your floral arrangements allows the accent color to come out in the linen, making for the perfect combo! This wedding at The Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club shows just that.

This photo shows you the beautiful blushes and neutrals in a small, intimate floral arrangement. These flowers paired with the blue linens and gold votives has us in love. The linens used are our matte satin ice blue along with our slate blue polyester napkins, and don’t forget the beautiful gold acrylic chargers!

We love these guest tables paired with our gold chiavari chairs. If you notice the bride chose to switch up the style of her centerpiece into a more modern, dramatic centerpiece on every other table. We love that centerpieces can be different from table to table but still showcase your wedding colors beautifully.

Each guest table looked stunning and the attention to detail was impeccable. The napkin fold is a trifold on top of the chargers really allowing that slate blue to pop in a clean and elegant way.

Sweet and Whimsical September Wedding

Last month we had the pleasure of providing the linens for Samantha and Nathan’s wedding at the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth. Samantha’s tables were fully set with our white polyester linens, gold chargers, and wedgewood napkins. She topped off the tables with our gold chiavari chairs.

To make her sweetheart table stand out, Samantha chose a floor length white organza tablecloth to give that soft and whimsical look. This fabric is typically used as an overlay but we are so thrilled at how this full length organza linen transformed her sweetheart table. The gorgeous floral arrangements and small lanterns makes you feel cozy and romantic, perfect for the newlyweds.

A close up shot of Samantha and Nathan’s guest tables really allows you to see the pop of color in their napkins and gold chargers that contrast the white linens beautifully.

The table arrangements were finished off with a beautiful wooden accent name plate. This close up of the napkin fold on top of the charger shows just how much thought was put into every detail of this place setting. This fold is called a menu fold because it allows for a small pocket in the napkin and the menu fits right in. Napkin folds is just one of many ways to customize your linens on your big day.
