See What it Takes to Set up a Wedding with our Team!

We love setting up for weddings, but it takes a lot of hard work and planning! Luckily, our Waterford team is full of dedicated workers ready for business! Today we will take you through a typical setup routine with some behind-the-scenes pics. Read below!

It’s Go Time

First, we get the rentals out of the Waterford truck and into the venue! We transfer the chairs and linens onto the dolly and roll them in. Sometimes it takes numerous trips, lots of dollies, and a few team members to get everything to the right place. Once we get everything to the right place, we start unloading the linens and get them on to their designated tables. Did you know that we even check the seams to make sure they are all facing the same direction & the linen is evenly touching the floor all the way around?

Steaming, Steaming, and More Steaming!

After we bring the chairs in and put our linens on the tables, the next step is to bring out the steamer! Waterford Event Rentals takes pride in the service aspect of our brand and many times are known for this extra attention to detail! We go above and beyond to make sure that everything looks very clean and perfected. Take a look below at some behind-the-scenes footage from an event at the Chrysler Museum of Art where we show the incredible difference steaming makes. The results are amazing!

Completing the Table Design

Next, we complete the tabletop! Once we place the linens, we go around placing the napkins, cutlery, and plating necessary for the event. Seems simple enough, right? Well, Waterford focuses on the details with our tablescapes to ensure that all the silverware and glassware are perfectly aligned. Not only do we perfect the tables, but we also attend to the chairs around the table! A common misconception is pushing in the chairs all the way. However, the chairs should be barely touching the linens! See the difference below.

Devoted to Details

Lastly, but certainly not least, we check on the details. While the job may appear finished, focusing on the details is an essential final step to complete! Since we are the only rental company in the area that is heavily focused on our service, it’s SO important that everything is left looking perfect before we leave. This final, but crucial step often includes readjusting silverware, chairs, and many other tedious but important steps.
