Waterford has officially been named the 2027 Overall Gold winner for Best Place for Wedding Rentals in the Best of Coastal Virginia Weddings Awards. This isn’t simply a Gold award for one part of Hampton Roads. It represents something much bigger, and this one means a lot to our team.
What Are the Best of Coastal Virginia Weddings Awards?
The Best of Coastal Virginia Weddings Awards celebrate the wedding businesses local couples and communities know, love, and recommend. The awards are determined through public Readers’ Choice voting, which makes this recognition especially meaningful. In past competitions, more than 22,000 votes have been cast across wedding categories.
Couples and readers vote for their favorite local venues, photographers, planners, caterers, rental companies, and other wedding professionals. Knowing this award came from the people we serve makes it even more special.
What Does “Overall Gold” Actually Mean?
The awards recognize Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners within Coastal Virginia’s Southside and Peninsula regions. But Overall Gold sits above those regional placements. It goes to the business that receives the highest number of votes across the entire Coastal Virginia region within its category. So Waterford didn’t just earn the top spot in Virginia Beach or the Southside. We received the most votes for Best Place for Wedding Rentals across the entire Coastal Virginia region.
For a locally owned event rental company, that feels pretty incredible.
