Today is all about another one of our sweet Event Staff members, Brooke! Keep reading below to learn more about Brooke and her role at Waterford!
Name: Brooke Webster

Age: 19 (But my birthday is less than a month away!)

Position: Event Staff Member

How long have you been with Waterford?: I was hired in late December, about 7 months now!

College/Major: I’m an Elementary Education Major at Old Dominion University.

Favorite WER Memory: My Favorite WER Memory so far would have to be our photo shoot! It was so fun getting all dressed up and taking pictures with the girls!

Describe yourself in 3 words: Outgoing, Goofy, Upbeat

Describe WER in 3 words: Creative, Hardworking, Fun

What do you love most about working at WER?: I love how we’re like one big Waterford family! Even when we have our staff meetings they last hours because we have so much fun together! It’s really nice working with people who are kind and are more than just coworkers.

Favorite Linen: Definitely our new Sheer Sequins! It’s gorgeous! The most perfect sheer ivory with splashes of champagne sequins!

Favorite Sash Tie: Wrap around center bow

What linen trend are you loving this wedding season?: I’m loving the neutrals! Khaki, champagne, ivory, blush!

If you aren’t working, where would we find you on the weekend?: You would find me playing with my new puppy, watching Grey’s Anatomy, or getting a tan in the sun!

What is your favorite part of the setup process at an event?: My favorite part is comparing what we walked into to what it transforms into! When we enter the venue the linens are usually the first thing in the room. It’s amazing to see everything come together once the centerpieces, decorations, etc. are added!

What is the most significant thing you’ve learned from working in the event industry?: I’ve actually learned SO MUCH since I’ve started working in the event industry, the main thing being: Be prepared for anything! Things are always changing and last minute decisions are always being made so you really have to go with the flow!
