We’re excited to have another Feature Friday: Staff Edition post for everyone today! We recently had a new addition to the Waterford family and today is all about our girl Heather! Check out her interview below and help us welcome her to our team!

How long have you been with Waterford: Since October!
College/Major: Communications major at Old Dominion University
Favorite WER memory: I haven’t been around for very long, but I would have to say our monthly staff meetings. I love getting to know everyone outside of work!
Describe yourself in 3 words: Responsible, Funny, Loving
Describe WER in 3 words: Personal, Professional, Unique
What do you love most about working at WER so far?: The family atmosphere! As soon as I was hired, I felt like a part of the team. The girls are so welcoming and loving!
Favorite Linen: I absolutely love the all of the sequins linens!
Favorite Sash Tie: Oh my…learning the different ways to tie sashes has been so fun. I would say the wrap around center bow is my favorite so far!
What linen trends are you loving this wedding season?: Wedding season was starting to slow down when I was hired, but I love when brides use specialty linens on sweetheart tables.
If you aren’t working, where would we find you on the weekend?: At the beach or with my little brother!
What is your favorite part of the setup process at an event?: I love that I get to help a bride’s special day come together! Looking at the finished product is always a great feeling.
What is the most significant thing you’ve learned from working in the event industry so far?: I’ve learned that anything can go wrong during a setup/breakdown. It is important to be prepared for the unexpected.
