Hey there! It’s Thanksgiving Eve, so what better way to give thanks to our amazing team than with a “Meet the Team” blog! We have reached the end of the fall wedding season and our team KILLED it this fall. We just want to personally thank each and every one of them for working extremely hard these fall months.

In June we had our annual staff photo shoot with the lovely Misty Saves The Day! We wanted to share some of the amazing pictures with you and give you a chance to meet the team.Our first staff member is probably a familiar, friendly face that most of you have seen. She is our fearless leader and owner of Waterford, Alyse. Alyse has been running the company for almost 10 years and has seen the company grow year after year. She is the rock of Waterford and we could not do what we do without her.Next up is Waterford’s OG, Heather. She has been with Waterford for 4 years now and is responsible for everything that is done in the warehouse prepping for events. Heather knows the warehouse like the back of her hand and has been working full time since she graduated from Old Dominion University last year. Heather excels with organization and her knowledge of product and venue layouts.Cassie is one of our event staff members that has been with us the longest. ANDDDD it’s her birthday!!!  Happy birthday Cassie! We are so thankful for everything you do. Not only does Cassie rock it on events, she works throughout the week during those busy months to help us stay ahead of the game. Cassie is a student at Old Dominion University with the hopes to go to grad school to be a Physician Assistant. We are so thankful to have this amazing girl on our team all year round!
Megan is another one of our event staff members that has been around for quite some time. Although Megan is only part part time for us now, she comes in clutch during those insane weekends where we really need her helping hands. If you have seen Megan at events then you know she is a pro when it comes to tying bows and puts a lot of attention to detail in every setup she is a part of.Brookelin joined our team in the spring and has been the glue that keeps the office staff and event staff on the same page. Brookelin knows her way around the event world and has been working in the event industry for more than 5 years. When she is not working, she is probably working out or playing with her nephew. Without Brookelin, we would not have that vital information that we need to make sure event setups go off without a hitch!Our first delivery staff member is Victor and he has been with Waterford through the spring and fall craziness this year! Contrary to the saying, Vic insists on “working harder not smarter”. You can see Vic at just about all of our chair setups/deliveries without the use of a dolly. Not only does Vic get the heavy lifting done so the Waterford girls don’t have to, he also goes on our deliveries and pickups during the week when it’s extra busy around the warehouse.Bryce is the second half to our delivery dynamic duo. Bryce has been with Waterford since the spring and has helped us in times of need when it comes to chairs, chairs, and more chairs. Whether it’s a 100 chair weekend or a 300 chair weekend, Bryce is always ready to work and get the job done. Bryce is finishing his last year at Hickory High School and plans to go into the military post graduation.Caitlin is another crucial member to our event staff and helps us in major times of need on the weekends and throughout the week. Caitlin is a Richmond native and is attending college at Old Dominion University. Caitlin has been with us since the spring and has fallen in love with the event industry ever since.Kayla is the final member of our team and has been working so hard since she joined the team in May. She works full time in the warehouse with Heather and the two of them work effortlessly together to get the job done. Kayla is new to the event industry and does everything she can to learn all there is to know. We love the positive energy and eagerness to learn that Kayla brings to the team.

Welp, that’s all folks! We have the best team ever and we couldn’t imagine it any other way. Everyone works so hard to get the job done and the outcome is always a beautiful one.
