Introducing
The Team

Alyse Conyers
Owner
Alyse has lived in the Hampton Roads area her entire life. At the young age of 14, she met her high school sweetheart & now husband, Steve. Together they have 3 children; Ella, Ronni (the GIRL), & Grant. When she isn’t busy at work or running after the kids, she enjoys working out, shopping, & going to dinner with friends. Alyse received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Old Dominion University. She began her career in the training department at Norfolk Southern. After spending a few years planning corporate training events, she had her first child & took a leap of faith & started Waterford Event Rentals. Alyse couldn’t be happier than when she is helping clients design their big day. She loves focusing on details, textures, colors, & the overall look of an event. Her undeniable passion for the event industry & specifically, rentals, is written all over her face every time she walks into the design studio.

Hannah Miller
Administrative Coordinator
Hannah grew up in a small county called Fluvanna Co. (near Charlottesville VA), before moving to the Hampton Roads area for college. She graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelors in Communications & began her career at Enterprise in sales & marketing. Hannah realized she loved working with people, but wanted to dive more into the world of events after participating in a local wedding certification class. During this class, Alyse & Hannah met & well… you know the rest of the story…she’s now at Waterford Event Rentals doing what she loves!
Hannah enjoys cooking, gardening, laying out at the beach, & spending time with friends & family (especially her fiancé & pup, Marley)! When she isn’t busy steaming linens & setting up events on the weekends, she loves to go to her favorite coffee shop & brewery to relax.

Kayla spent the last three years working in a local physical therapy clinic. But, she traded in her scrubs & lab coats for sashes & linens & has been working hard to learn the ropes. Outside of Waterford, you can find Kayla playing soccer, spending time with her boyfriend, & going to the gym!

ABOUT US
Waterford Event Rentals (WER) was established in 2010 when two best friends collaborated their design abilities and desire to help clients achieve breathtaking events. Waterford Event Rentals specializes in high-quality rental items; such as table runners, chair covers, sashes, tablecloths, chairs, tables, plate chargers, etc. We take great pride in the connections we make with our clients, and the impeccable product and service we provide at every event. Every linen is pressed and hung with perfection. All rentals are clean & handled and stored with care to ensure our customers are always receiving the absolute best! We value each and every one of our clients. Please take a look around our website and see what you think! We hope you will try linens the “Waterford Way” at your next event!
The name, Waterford Event Rentals, was chosen because the owner and the co-founder grew up together on “Waterford Place.” When it was time to choose a name, it was an easy choice! “Waterford” reminded us of all the memories we shared growing up together.
“Waterford Blue” is a common phrase that event industry professionals (and even brides and grooms) use in Hampton Roads when referring to the shade of blue in our logo. We stick by this color so much (in our logo, paint on our walls, the color of our shoes, etc.) that people think of “Waterford” when they see this color.
Waterford Event Rentals started in the home many years ago. At the time we only offered chair covers and a few satin sash colors, however, what made us stand out was the amount of sash tie options we offered. The standard bow was put to rest, and Waterford Event Rentals brought life to several unique ties that really allowed couples to showcase their personality and allow their event to stand out.
As customers requested more and more linen colors and textures, we exp&ed our inventory and moved from the house into storage units and a small office. It didn’t take long before we moved once again into our first office warehouse.
