Alyse has lived in the Hampton Roads area her entire life. At the young age of 14, she met her high school sweetheart & now husband, Steve. Together they have 3 children; Ella, Ronni (the GIRL), & Grant. When she isn’t busy at work or running after the kids, she enjoys working out, shopping, & going to dinner with friends. Alyse received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Old Dominion University. She began her career in the training department at Norfolk Southern. After spending a few years planning corporate training events, she had her first child & took a leap of faith & started Waterford Event Rentals. Alyse couldn’t be happier than when she is helping clients design their big day. She loves focusing on details, textures, colors, & the overall look of an event. Her undeniable passion for the event industry & specifically, rentals, is written all over her face every time she walks into the design studio.

Kayla is a Hampton Roads native & alumni of Old Dominion University. Surprisingly, Kayla got her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology (can you say well rounded??) Kayla has been with Waterford since 2019 and began her time in the warehouse learning legit ALL. THE. THINGS. Questions about our inventory- she’s your go to for that! Since her warehouse days, she has grown into many new roles & acts currently as the Sales & Marketing Manager. Outside of Waterford, you can find Kayla’s nose in a book, staying fit & healthy at the gym, having a game night with her closest friends & fiancé, or playing with her adorable pups Cleo & Mamba! Oh & traveling when she gets the chance!

Originally from Florida, Kari traded sunshine for seasons when she moved to Virginia eight years ago. She jumped into the hospitality world early on, including time at Topgolf, and quickly found her groove in high-energy, guest-centered environments. Starting as a server, she worked her way up to hospitality management, leading teams across bar service, food running, events, and day-to-day operations.

Kari joined Waterford in January 2025 as an Event Specialist, where she became the go-to for staff coordination and client communication. Now, she oversees daily operations and leads the entire Waterford team, ensuring smooth events and standout guest experiences.

Outside of work, Kari enjoys going to the gym, playing pickleball, catching movies with her boyfriend, and spending time with her two doggos, Mallard and Boone.

Emily grew up in Virginia Beach and is a proud alumna of Old Dominion University, where she earned a degree in Recreation Tourism Studies with a minor in Psychology. Following an internship at Walt Disney World, she returned to Virginia Beach to launch her career in hospitality. Beginning in food and beverage and advancing to Director of Weddings & Events, Emily has developed extensive expertise in the hotel industry and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys traveling the world with her husband, staying active through fitness classes at Cyclebar Redmill & F45 Kings Grant, cooking, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is also a devoted pet parent to two dogs, Harley and Ollie, and a tabby cat named Milo. A lifelong fan of the Olympic Games, Emily and her husband fulfilled a dream by attending the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
