2015 is in full-swing and we hope everyone is enjoying so far!
We are certainly excited for a wonderful new year and the fresh start that comes along with it! Over the Christmas and New Year’s holiday, we saw so many couples get engaged and we even hosted a fun little Facebook contest for the best “holiday proposal” we received! With so many engagements happening, it’s only right that we have another big bridal show coming up this weekend, the Uniquely Yours Bridal Showcase!

Since this show is a kick-off to a slew of other bridal shows in the coming months, we thought it would be appropriate to refresh your memory on some crucial bridal show tips as well as some color trends you can expect to see this year. Some color trends to consider before you attend these shows. . .

Marsala

Of course Marsala, Pantone’s Color of the Year, will be a huge color trend this year. Not only is it a gorgeous color, but the sheer fact that it was named “color of the year” will certainly have brides and grooms incorporating it into their big day! Since it is such a bold color, we can totally see couples adding pops of Marsala throughout their wedding in their floral or centerpieces!

Neutrals

2 things never go out of style when talking about weddings: neutral & vintage. You just really can’t go wrong with these 2 together, and we will see neutral colors as a staple year after year. Including neutral colors throughout your wedding will create a clean, put together look that can then be emphasized with additional decor!

Aquamarine

Pantone is predicting this gorgeous shade of blue to be the “it” color of spring & summer 2015. We can only imagine that we will see this color transitioned into many weddings! Variations of blue are often popular choices for wedding colors, and we can totally see Aquamarine as the dress color for many bridesmaids!
