Happy Waterford Wednesday, friends!
We’ve got a fun post for you today all about the ILEA Hampton Roads Knife & Fork Competition! ILEA, the International Live Events Association, is an amazing organization we are part of that brings together special event professionals for education and networking purposes. We absolutely love the monthly meetings and fun events (like this one!) that our ILEA Hampton Roads chapter hosts. The whole knife and fork tabletop competition was based around Hollywood, so each vendor chose a movie to design their table around. Check out how Rebecca and Brigitte brought our “Grease” inspired table to life below!
We love when we are able to be on the “other side of table” so to speak and come up with creative and unique design ideas! Rebecca and Brigitte chose Grease as their inspiration, and really brought the 1950’s diner feel to life with the help of our red and white striped polyester linen! Of course, we had a ton of “friendor” help: Stage Right Lighting made our dreams come true with the lighting above the table, Mad Hatter Vintage Rentals provided the flatware and soda crate that really tied the old school feel together, and Big Top Entertainment lent us the amazing booth seat that is quintessential 1950’s diner!

You have to check out more of the creative tables from this year’s competition! Head on over to the ILEA Facebook page to see more from the fun event!
