We’re back again for another Waterford Wednesday post!
If you’ve been following along with our weekly posts for awhile now, you know that each Wednesday, we do a post we like to call “Waterford Wednesday” where we talk about a variety of topics ranging from linen tips & tricks, wedding inspiration and so much more! We love doing these posts and it was this month a year ago that we revamped our blog and started this weekly series! It’s been a fun year and we have so much more material coming your way!
This week we thought we’d share our ideas of some innovative wedding trends that can make your event extra special!

Pop of Pattern
We’ve always been a fan of an unexpected “pop of color” at a reception table, but we love the idea of a “pop of pattern” even more! Antonia Christianson Events provided the perfect pattern pop with these adorable plaid napkins at our Crystal Clear Vision event last month. Including a pattern can create an unexpected yet amazing visual impact and using a napkin to do so is super easy! We loved how this table setting had a rustic feel without using the typical burlap fabrics.

Visual Statement
Creating a strong visual statement at the main tables of your event is something that we think is important! Oftentimes, brides choose to use extravagant floral arrangements to achieve this statement, but we are loving the idea of a chandelier as a statement piece! Waterford chose to suspend a gorgeous chandelier (thanks Blue Steel Lighting Design!) above our tablescape at our Crystal Clear Vision event. It really was the “wow” piece of our table and drew so many eyes as the focal point of our design!
