Happy Waterford Wednesday!
Today we are bringing you Part 3 of our linen rental tips! {Check out Part 1 & Part 2}.
If you really take a step back and survey a wedding reception as a whole, you’ll often see that a significant portion of the overall look and feel comes from the choice of linens. We like to refer to linens as the “secret sauce” of a reception.
Check out a few {more} of our linen rental tips. . .
Bring In Specific Color Swatches
Making sure that the linens you decide to rent match the colors of the various other pieces of your wedding (dresses, ties, decor) is crucial! If you have a unique or very particular color shade that you need to match, it’s always a good idea to bring in a color swatch to ensure that you have a perfect match!
Ask For Referrals
We can’t stress this enough! Asking your wedding coordinator if they have a preferred linen vendor is the best way to ensure you get the best quality linens as well as service! Your coordinator has more than likely worked with countless vendors and can provide you with the best possible recommendation for your needs.
Custom Linens Take Time
Most linen companies work on a first-come, first-served basis, so reserving your linens in advance is crucial. If you need/want custom linens for your event, whether that be a unique pattern, size, or fabric, it’s best to reserve them months in advance! This gives time to purchase these special linens while also making sure there is plenty of time for them to be shipped in!
