Happy Wednesday Friends!
Over the past few months we’ve done countless “Tips & Tricks” posts about various topics ranging from linen rental tips, tips for attending bridal shows and planning for your big day. Today we’re adding another to our list. . .tips on using color! With thousands of linens in countless different colors in our inventory, we have a couple tips to share when it comes to the do’s and don’ts of color!

Don’t: Go Color Crazy!
When the initial wedding or event planning process begins, choosing the colors that you want to represent your event is normally at the top of the list. When choosing these colors it’s important to remember that while pink, orange, green, and blue are all tied for your favorite color, you don’t need to include all of them in your table designs and decor! Limiting your color palette to two to three colors that compliment each other well is key. Pictured below, Palette of Petals incorporated many different colors in the same deep, rich color tones at our Crystal Clear Vision event and the end result was magical! By using similar colors in various shades, they created a gorgeous, striking look that made a huge impact!

Do: Embrace Neutral Colors
The easiest way to ensure you don’t have too many color distractions at your event is to embrace neutral colors in your linens! White, ivory, beige, and taupe are the perfect neutral colors to have as a base for your event. With these neutrals as a base, you’re given more flexibility when incorporating many different colors or even patterns in your table and event designs!
