Happy Waterford Wednesday!
Wedding season is officially here and we are so pumped for the crazy busy and exciting summer ahead! Since May is when “busy season” really kicks off in the wedding industry, we knew that we had to have a great linen special, so of course we chose LACE! Lace is such a sophisticated and versatile fabric that it can really be utilized in some way, no matter what your theme is! Whether it’s a romantic tablescape, or a rustic/antique style design, you can’t go wrong with lace! In honor of our May linen special, here are some of our favorite ways to incorporate lace!

One of the easiest ways to incorporate lace into your table design is to layer! Remember how we talked all about layering linens in this post? You can use the same concept of adding multiple layers, but including lace on the top, bottom, or even the middle! The picture above of our lace overlay draped over top of our gold overlay and ivory table linen will always be a favorite image of ours showing how classic and timeless lace is!

Unlike most fabrics, lace is one of the few that can stand completely alone on a table. Depending on the theme of your event, lace can be utilized as the one and only linen, with no linen placed under it. In a setting where a wooden style table is being used (such as above) the idea of using just a lace linen is a perfect option that can enhance the theme you’re going for!

Incorporating lace in your chair sashes is another way to utilize this gorgeous fabric! Whether you decide to use the lace sash on its own, or layer it with a solid color satin or organza sash, your chairs will look delicate and elegant with this added touch!
